The Wedding Ring

Ravi and Tia were the most complete strangers, when cupid strikes, in a moment she was his, and all the glamour of love took place. Story never ends when two meet, it neither ends rather creates each day a new story, a new page to their life. Ravi and Tia lead a faithful, loving roller coaster ride of utterly being together for 3 years. It seemed the geographical distance created spaces between them, but still they were together. In every hard ship they faced they toiled together. They had fight of course like every average couple takes place but they never got apart...

Tia‘s family in other hand didn’t want her to get married to Ravi. This was the hardest part of a perfect love story. Tia thought she can never live with Ravi. Ravi knew this, but such modesty of person; he never forced anything out of Tia. This caused more pain to Tia, because she knew Ravi was too hurt for this.  They always lived together whenever they met like the next day would be the last day of the world. As such they are the world of each other.

Tia and Ravi never thought to defy their parents. So they accepted their fate. But one fateful day, Tia’s father called her to ask about Ravi. She was afraid, her dad may speak ill of Ravi. Instead,

He said – “Tia, i know you still like that guy, what’s his name?”

Tia shaken with words already said – “Ravi, dad”

Dad- “what does he do?”

Tia- “dad, he is in TCS as ASE “

And Dad asked all the details Tia can furnish for. Suddenly, Tia heard his daddy saying that he wants to meet Ravi and his family..Surprised, Tia asked “why?? “ Dad said – “Me and your mum wants to meet him, as your happiness is all that we want” Dad smiled and Tia‘s happiness knew no bounds.

Tia called up Ravi and Ravi was so nervous and excited as well. Everything went so well. Tia’s parents and Ravi‘s parents were heartily agreed to get them both married soon.

The Wedding day came. All preparations were made. It was very loveable and fun wedding. With all good and bad that didn’t worse, wedding was on! Finally the dream of two young hearts  was fulfilled. Now my readers must be wondering why I am saying this when the headline says something else.

Well, on the blissful wedding night, the life they will share henceforth together forever, Ravi asked Tia to close her eyes.

Ravi - “close your eyes and don’t open until I say”

Tia – “why? “

Ravi –“you will know, my beautiful bride”

Tia blushed and closed her eyes. Ravi took this special gift and put in Tia’s finger. When Tia opened, Ravi spoke and said – “this is not just a gift of you being my wife, it was bought for some purpose. Remember you asked me to gift u an Diamond. “Tia said – “I just joked dear, u took so seriously, why u did spend so much”. Girls, you know, they appreciate but also show the concern..J

Ravi spoke – “would u listen to me patiently?”

Tia smiles and mockingly puts her finger on her lips.

Ravi said – “ when you said that you will be marrying someone else coz your parents want so, I thought of gifting u something that will make u remember me as person who promised not only to love you forever but to be with you in every step of your life. But now I promise this that I will be with you forever and never let you forget that I am the only person who will never leave you alone”

Tia hugged him, with pearls of tears out of sheer happiness and  smiles that lived in their lips forever. J

Ending world.

As we enter into a new era, New Year 2013, we look back into what year 2012 came off. Some where there was huge extermination somewhere people celebrated the retribution given to the notorious. Somewhere acquitted died of barbarousness and somewhere people were beaten without the sense of ethics. Some peacefully marched serenely some protested with violence and words.

We always imagined greeting each year with zeal and vigor, but we ended with a tempest. We came to a year end with commotion and viciousness. It certainly seemed somewhere Mayans were right. The peace and love has ended. The morality we preserved is devastated. The question comes why?

Not only sense of security of women was in question, but it was also an international concern of saving different religious sect of people. We say we have widened our minds to every culture, every race, every religion, but is it truly? We peace marched and declared, we won’t celebrate New Year, but we didn’t stop drinking, howling and merrymaking. We mourned with loud words, but did we save many other who were victims simultaneously? Raising voice is easier, but working on it is difficult.

The barbarity is not in other’s mind. It’s in ours. We say something and ultimately end up doing something else. Yes, some of us have the potential to regulate our mind to what is necessity. But the rest? Are they able to control the hunger to kill? We feel pain but the agony vanishes as it wasn’t deep for us. But we never imagined what happens the rest of life for those victims and their loved ones. They will never have a good year again. If Happiness is birth right, it is equal to everyone. Democracy is not for one person, it’s for whole nation, for whole world. If Happiness exists, there exists Respect. If there is Respect there is Love. God has made everyone equal. So why can’t there be harmony?

We say Life is to struggle? Why? To kill each other for nothing?  Animals don’t kill each other for mere sense of attack, or any mental satisfaction? They kill to survive.  Does this terrorism, holocaust, Crime, molestation and corruption is way to struggle for living? Well I don’t think so. We say there are Good and Satan. But in reality, they are in our minds. We don’t understand, when and what takes a place. Sometimes we become God and sometimes we end up being Satan for another. Isn’t it? Tigers don’t kill tigers for mere fun. Then why do us, human kill another? It’s all question of ego, hunger of power and sense of discrimination.

The Essence is we have forgotten the roots we were born upon. It was God and nature’s love created a powerful being called Human, who will understand that he is not alone. He has a family. God as Father, Earth as Mother, all his fellow humans and animals are his own blood. God created us to lets us understand the true facts of life. But we misunderstood our power and thus this is outcome of an ending world. If we have to save the earth, we need to save ourselves and our fellow humans. Think everyone as your own. Let this world be at peace soon everyone learns the facts. Well I can only hope and mend my ways. May the day come when God will smile when he will see his children are in synchronization. Amen!
